Operations1 enters the UK Market
Operations1, the leading platform for connected workers in the manufacturing industry, will be present in London on 28 and 29 June to discuss current trends, challenges and solutions for frontline workers and provide their perspective. The Operations1 platform is already used in more than 15 countries today, mainly by international companies such as Trumpf, Bosch and Hirschvogel, which have their headquarters in Central Europe. Now Operations1 also wants to actively support UK-based companies in empowering their employees to increase operational excellence and build future-proof operations.
The Operations1 platform to safeguard against the shortage of skilled workers
Co-Founder and CCO Daniel Grobe will present in his keynote why the connected worker is an undeniable strategic imperative at companies and shows how manufacturing enterprises can hedge against the scarcity of skilled labor, increase the flexibility of the organisation and fuel tomorrow’s continuous improvement process with data that remained untapped until now.
The connected manufacturing worker summit marks the beginning
Moritz Stern, Head of Marketing and Strategy at Operations1 comments: “The connected manufacturing event is a great opportunity to kickstart our activities in UK. We are looking forward to getting in touch in person and exchange on trends, challenges, and solutions with leading minds in manufacturing. Next to the event, we will grow our market presence.”
Strong outlook for Operations1 despite current head winds in the start-up ecosystem
In recent weeks, share prices of tech companies have fallen significantly in public markets, putting pressure also on the start-up ecosystem. While many start-ups now focus on risk management and consider layoffs, Operations1 is continuing to invest due to a very healthy financial situation and a strong economic outlook.
The Operations1 team continues to hire excellent talent to follow the mission to empower every worker around the world.
Daniel Grobe
“We see a huge demand in the market to equip the operational workforce with tools that really make their lives easier, which in the end results in higher productivity, quality, and safety for the company. The United Kingdom has many brilliant manufacturers, but they face the same challenges: The scarcity of skilled labor, increasing customer requirements and high a pressure on throughput is colliding with complex, oftentimes paper-based shopfloor processes and a lack of transparency. We look forward to work with the operational leaders and bring in our experiences from the manufacturing sector in Central Europe.”
